Description

The Coroner’s new extended length release of tape manipulations. While Time Maligned trafficked in a sampling of different sounds and techniques based on the wide array of tape donations received over the last two years, Black Hole is far more singular and direct. The EP consists of two long form tracks using only a sparse handful of original sources and citing 3 individuals as contributors. A consistent minimal flow is presented throughout, aiming to wring the most out of these sources. The focus is the sound itself, and the subtleties in it’s texture achieved through light eq and echo manipulation.

No chaos or theatrics, just tape drone for a single listener to play while sinking into the couch.
